How to Apply for Community Grants

The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. Since our foundation in 2002, Komen Southwest Florida has invested more than $7.1 million in local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically underserved in Southwest Florida. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today. Our Affiliate is proud to have contributed more than $2.2 million toward research since 2002.

Applications will be accepted for breast health or breast cancer screening, treatment, education, or support project in Southwest Florida starting November 1, 2016 for the fiscal year May 1, 2017 to April 30, 2018. Projects that specifically address the objectives outlined in the “Funding Priorities” in the application will be given priority.
