History:

Rosalie Wysocki Segal passed away on April 16, 2011 at the young age of 47 after a three year battle with metastatic melanoma. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and community volunteer.

Prior to and during her journey, both in her life and with cancer, Rosalie dedicated much of her time to several Naples philanthropic organizations, including The American Cancer Society of Collier County, where she was vice-chair of the 2011 Relay for Life, The Ladies of St. Agnes Church, and her beloved Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Southwest Florida.

She created and brought “Project Hope” to Southwest Florida in 2008, helping to provide nearly 1,000 newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with care bags with resources, support gifts, and most of all… hope… thus the name “Project Hope.”

Today, we celebrate Rosalie’s life and honor her in working diligently to continue her project.
